duende entendre is a sound art
duo formed by percussionist Ron Coulter and poet Sam West. The duo works
in the continuum of free improvisation and composition, creating
manifold real-time events of encapsulating soundscapes, provocative
vignettes, and spontaneous statements in sound. Acoustic instruments and
non-instruments are combined with analog+digital electronics and the
expanded possibilities of the voice. The duo formed in 2008 and calls
Carbondale, Illinois home.
